Instructions
- Clean and dry the surface Remove dirt, oils and loose debris. Make sure the damaged area is completely dry before continuing.
- Prepare the damaged area Gently sand the area with suitable low-grit sandpaper to remove loose edges and improve adhesion.
- Remove remaining residue Wipe away sanding dust and prepare the surface with a suitable leather preparation product. Test first in a hidden area.
- Apply a thin coat Use a small spatula or applicator to press a thin layer of filler into the damaged section.
- Allow it to dry Let the layer dry completely. For deeper damage, repeat using several thin coats rather than one thick application.
- Sand between coats Lightly sand each dry layer before applying the next coat. Continue until the damaged area has been filled.
- Smooth and recolor Lightly sand the final dry layer until smooth, remove all dust and apply a compatible leather paint. Avoid bending or flexing the repaired area for at least 48 hours after painting.
